Government Engineering College was established in 1957 and is situated in Thrissur in Kerala. GEC Thrissur is a government college. The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The college is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The college has a good faculty and infrastructure, and plenty of freedom, places to explore learn new things, clubs activities etc. Gect is the most active in extra curricular activities then cet which I had heard from the students in cet itself, and another most important point is this college has zero ragging.. it was a good decision to join
